In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the top food and drink applications on Android in Costa Rica presented notable trends in downloads and active users, as analyzed by Sensor Tower.

PedidosYa - Delivery Online showed a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, peaking at around 7.3K in mid-April. The app maintained a strong presence with weekly active users rising from approximately 103K to over 131K by the end of June.

Maxi Pali experienced fluctuations in downloads, with a high of about 7.1K in late May. However, no data on active users was available for this app during the quarter.

Blinkit: Grocery in 10 minutes had a varied download trend, with a significant increase to approximately 8.7K in mid-April, followed by a dip and then a recovery to 6.4K in late June. Active users saw a consistent increase, reaching over 16K by the quarter's end.

McDonald's Offers and Delivery maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with a notable peak of 4K in late June. The app's active users increased steadily, starting from around 114K and reaching nearly 148K by the end of June.
